So much important information in this module, but the one item that sticks out the most to me is, "Remembering names" People are sensitive, even if they don't admit it, but if you forget someone's name that does bother them internally.  Forget it twice and you have lost respect with that student.  I have always used their hobby or something that stuck out in their introduction to match their name to.  Always worked for me, but still every now and then there is that one name that doesn't stick

I enjoyed how these modules have described the instructor's role and hope through my years of doing this job I have lived up to the expectations.  I firmly believe being professional at all times is extremely important and carries the most character impact in front of your learners.  The number one rule to remember is to Not become Pals with members of your class.  If you do things change drastically in the dynamics of your class

Knowing your course content is important, how you are going to deliver it and how long. But equally important is to take the time and get to know your learners and let them get to know you as well

I find it important as an instructor, that even though they are motivators, not to offer many rewards.  In the past when offering rewards I learned that most of the time that's what was keeping them engaged but not really

As an instructor/teacher it is always important to stay motivated and to also share that excitement with the students

AI has so many applications and the integration of AI into teaching and learning is going to be an exciting time.  I am just starting to use AI in development and so amazed at the help AI has provided

I am a big fan of AI and know I will use it as a partner in the development of instructional components

AI has grown so fast just in the past four years.  Self-driving cars, autonomous machines and weapons, the forefront tool for gathering information...the list could go on.  Some see it as a threat some as the possibility of enhancing creativity when used  properly. 

When working with your students it is important to consider using available tools to help students learn and be motivated.  But in the same sense make sure it is going to benefit the course and the learning

As an instructor or an Instructional Designer realizing more goes into the development of a course, but the realization of the individual needs and considerations for the variety of students that may be enrolled.  As an instructor you must consider their abilities to take an online course, encourage commitment, discuss disabilities, motivate, and set goals with them.  As well as developing tools for their success, such as standardizing days/times assignments are turned in.  As an instructor you must be just as committed and the student
