There are many accommodations that are helpful for students. Apps are great tools for students with learning disabilities. 

Students who leave high school will not have a personalized learning plan. It is up to the student to let their college instructor know what area they need support in.

This was definitely a eye opener for me. As I think about my experience in classroom, I understand that there are many different forms of disabilities that I may have seen. I think the key is when we have a experience with a disability to find ways to help the student to gain confidence.

It is important to see signs of students who may struggle and provide support to them.

I have learned that a important part of instruction is observation. The content or the lab interactions will help you navigate how you will move forward to the next step of instruction.

Experience is the best teacher, So make notes of what went well and always do my best to be prepared.

I have learned that listening does more good for a student who is upset.

Setting order within the classroom. Also when dealing with different behaviors finding ways to help the student to stay engaged.

Does anyone struggle with how to help some students engage more in activities.

I have learned to be precise and straight to the point of what my syllabus is to my students. This will help them know the difference in expectations and requirements.
