This module reinforced how important it is to intentionally connect classroom learning to real-world experiences. I plan to design more projects and reflections that tie directly to students’ work placements so they can clearly see the purpose behind what they’re learning.

This module showed me the importance of having clear, consistent processes in place for WBL. I plan to strengthen my systems for communication, tracking, and expectations so experiences run smoother and are more consistent for all students and partners.

This module reinforced the coordinator’s role as the bridge between students, school, and employers. I plan to be more intentional in guiding placements, setting expectations, and supporting both students and partners to ensure meaningful, safe, and well-structured work-based learning experiences.

This module reminded me how important it is to be proactive about safety, documentation, and clear expectations. I plan to tighten up training agreements, communicate more with partners, and make sure students are fully prepared before entering any work-based learning placement.

I learned how intentional communication and coaching strategies improve student engagement. I plan to apply this by being more thoughtful in responses, follow-ups, and building stronger connections.

This module made me think more about being intentional in virtual coaching. I plan to communicate more clearly, build stronger connections even at a distance, and use structured questions and follow-ups to keep students engaged and supported.

This module helped me see how powerful coaching conversations can be when I slow down and really listen. I plan to use more open-ended questions, guide students through the GROW process, and focus less on giving answers and more on helping them think through their own decisions.

I learned the importance of building relationships and using a coaching approach. I plan to ask better questions, listen more, and help students find their own direction.

I learned to start with clear goals for WBL data and plan to track participation better to improve student experiences and outcomes

This module reminded me how important reflection is in making WBL meaningful. I plan to build in more consistent student reflections and use that feedback to adjust experiences, so students aren’t just doing the work—they’re actually learning from it.
