It's always best to maintain open communication and an open-door policy with students. They should have access to you whenever they need assistance or clarification.

I have learned that when teaching an online course, it's essential to welcome students with an introductory video.  It is also important to communicate timely manner. 

I learned that students are primarily motivated to pursue further education for career-related reasons, such as increasing their salary, improving job performance, or advancing professionally.

Establishing strong working relationships with online students is essential for improving their academic success and overall outcomes.

A valuable way of learning is through collaborative activities, where students learn from interacting with their peers. These activities promote problem-solving and enhance overall learning.

It is crucial for the instructor to use communication tools consistently and effectively.

As instructors, we must ensure that students have access to technology and feel confident using it. When students lack sufficient knowledge or access to technology, they often face significant challenges.

Students should set clear goals and take an active role in their learning. They are encouraged to engage with their peers and the instructor, demonstrate responsibility, and understand the expectations of the course. Additionally, students should embrace and respect the diversity present in the classroom.

Students need to properly cite their sources and should make an effort to avoid cyber-plagiarism.

It is essential to have strong communication skills and to provide meaningful feedback."
