By what I am reading the best way to get things done in class and stay in control is to always be positive .

The first time I was in front of a class as an instructor was not really hard except trying to make sure I was explaining what they needed to do to become a Professional Automotive Technician, I was trying to not talk over their heads.

It seems each class I've had has always had that one student with behavior problems. Them best way I have found to deal with the problem is just listen and after a while they will run out of things to say and will start to listen again.

Every class I've had so far I have always had a center stage student , I have found that if I ask them alot of questions they usually don't know the answer and I will tell them they need to listen more and that usually gets them to chill out some.

Since being a new instructor it is hard not to feel bad for some students not having time to do their work and not being able to hand it in on time because of their family problems. I have to remember they are the ones who signed up for the class and they should take responsibility for their actions.

This module has taught me different ways of delivering my class content so the students will find interesting . I have also learned to not over due the lecture part of class and just keep them in 10-15 minutes blocks.

Tell the student about yourself and then have each of them tell you about them and what they are wanting to get out of your class.

By learning the different things that will help to become a good teacher/instructor is helpful . I have learned so may new ideas and procedures since I have been in the FIT class that I'm grateful that it is offered.

By watching the videos and listening to the procedures of becoming a better educator/instructor, I have learned new ways of doing a better job in the classroom .

Curriculum planning should start with a step by step process and will be used to keep on pace with your teaching through out the year. I will start using this along with (MLOs) and incorporate even more planning.
