Two types of motivators are Intrinsic and Extrinsic.

The classroom is their security.  Allow the students to ask questions and support them.  

Be the excitment in the classroom, the motivator.  Be the expert but also not the one who knows every answer. 

Build rapport, engage students, help them to want to participate.  different strategies in instruction can be a good thing so that it doesn't become mundane.

Engage your students. Be thoughtful in your approach and be a human being.  

This was helpful for me to understand the value of looking into things differently through the eyes of the students.  Getting to know the students and how to prepare them for their skills, why they decided to enroll in the school and classes.
