I gained an understanding of how the Department of Education implements the 90/10 rule and its impact on institutional funding compliance.

I have learned how GAPS is used to provide balance information and access reports on expenditures. It is also very important to understand what triggers a DOE review, as well as the significance of accurate reporting and recordkeeping to maintain compliance and precision in all processes.

I have learned about the very stringent process involved in returning Title IV funds and completing exit counseling.

Good customer service is a daily commitment — it should be extended to every student, at all times.

It’s important to stay up to date as the institution strives to remain at the forefront of providing quality service. It’s also our responsibility to be knowledgeable about the available programs so that we can offer prospective students more options and help them make informed decisions.

I enjoyed gaining in-depth knowledge about the different ways to market the institution’s programs. The text also reminded me of the three important documents: the School Catalog, the Standards of Licensure, and the Accreditation Manual.

I learned how important it is to be accurate when filling out forms like the agreement and that this paperwork is carefully reviewed.

I’ve learned that this course is essential for staying current with the latest admissions policies and procedures.
