Establising your online pressence is just as important as in the classroom.  Students have to not only get to know you, but respect your pressence. 

I'm definatly going to be incorporating these ideas into my onine class.

To ensure that your course is well designed you have to first comprehend the course content and all the various types of delivery for that content.  I will use this in my couse by first spending ample time compreheding all the tools abailable to me and making informed decesions on technology to use in my course.

I liked the idea of incorporating the idea of netetitte into our online classes is important. I plan to merge that idea into my online class.

There are a variety of technical skills and tools that are required to teach effectivley online.  These tools must curated to meet the needs of your course.

I plan to use this information when desining my online courses so that they are as effective in delivering the course content. 

Non technical skills are just as important as technical skills in online learning and we must take those into consideration as well.

I plan to incoroporate supports to assist my students in non technical supports such as reading and being effective communicators. 

Strageies to assist students with Special Needs.

I've noticted that in this class, there is an assitive technology that reads along with the text.  I love this idea, and plan to incorporate something similar into my online course. 

Course revisions, dynamic elsements and assessments must be intentional and planned out.  The course shouldn't be willy nilly, it should be purposuful.

Instructors need to set the guidelines, bourdreis and the example of communicaiton.  We don't have to be the everything, just the consistent and timely.

Athough time managment has become somewhat of a cliche in this modern world, it's more about blocking time, priortizing and goal setting. Having these things in mind will prevent burn out for botht he insturctors and the students.

I love the idea of lookng at other aspects of online teaching. t's not just delivering instruction, that's jut a small part of the work.  I love that the class fouses on time mangment and that time doesn't necessarilty translate across mediums.  We have to manage that translation or you will get overwhelmed.  I especailly appreciated the last section of support for Instructors and making sure that Professional Development is a priority.
