I learned that when a student that is expecting a baby, the student can mark "yes" to having child or dependent- making the student an independent student. At a previous school, I had been taught that we could not include the unborn child. You learn something every day! 

I learned the importance of providing accurate information and the consequences that can happen if the rules and policies are not followed. It is crucial to stay up to date on the recent regulations both state and federal. 

I learned that providing accurate information is crucial in staying compliant with the state and federal regulations. In addition, I learned ways to provide feedback to certain student responses, while making sure to be following the rules and polices. 

I learned important information and reminders when engaging with prospective and active students. The module helped remind me that we are a liaison with the financial aid options but it is crucial to follow the rules and provide accurate information. I also learned more about the CAM-SPAM Act and Do Not Call List.
