Hi Kenneth, This is a good approach because you are spreading out the different learning preference opportunities for your students. They can focus on the different ways as they progress through the course and have success at each point. Gary
Hi Kim, So true. Respect and rapport both come about as result of students having a competent and caring instructor. The more you can learn about your students the more targeted you can be in helping them to be successful. Gary
Hi Jane, Good approach. The more application and relevancy you can bring in the more engagement you will have. Sounds like you have this strategy integrated well into your teaching. Gary
Hi Dianne, Good resource. Thanks for sharing it with us. This is quick and effective and is really helpful in instructional planning. Thanks. Gary
Hi Kenneth, Sounds like you are doing a good job with your approach. As for getting around the classroom more you might want to use worksheets and have the students solve problems in groups. This way you could float around the classroom working with the groups and get a way from the board some. Then when you needed to go back to the board the students would be comfortable with that. Gary
Hi Dianne, Great to hear how your students were surprised that the time had gone so quickly. You are right this is the sign you are doing good things with your students and your approach. Keep up the great job. Gary
Hi Jesse, Good for you. By always being on the look out for things you can incorporate into your teaching is a great way to be an effective instructor. Continued growth will allow you to enjoy your students while knowing you are getting your message across to them. Gary
