Hi Durrell: Well, the youth and students in many of our career schools will end up being the future workers. Therefore, it's reasonable to expect our lessons and expertise should be able to convey the current contemporary information and knowledge be used to prepare these students for the future workforce. Goal of educating students

Hi Kevin: It's always inspirational when students are able to "catch on" and apply the skills the've learned. We can't possibly teach them everything they'll be expected to perform in school, but we can teach them to be critical thinkers and use their analysis and application skills. Regards, Barry

Understanding yourself as an instructor

Hi Richard: I don't allow EC. I've decribed my reasons throughout this forum. Basicaically, it's sujbective to grade, unfair to good performing students, and skews gardes. Regards, Barry

Using pretests as planning tools

Hi Richard: Students usually don't mind taking a test if they know it's not graded and will help the teacher know where to put additional emphasis for greater student understanding. Regards, Barry
