Valerie, This sounds terriic! For me, being student centered means willing to modify or adjust my prepared agenda to meet the student need at the moment. I may have plans to go one direction, but if I sense some students are not keeping up, being willing to personalize the help they need focuses my actions on the student need, rather than a predetermined plan that serves only my needs. Yoon Sik, Very nice. Some back up plans need to be activated by the teacher when, for reasons beyond their control, what was plkanned cannot be performed. This is when a good back-up plan is invaluable. Barry Westling

In most settings, the diversity of learners is great when a collection of new students begin. Forming their perspective and providing professional expectations is paramount.
