Goal of educating students

James, Preparing students for a career means, for many, also preparing them for life since many don't have the professional, speech, manners, or work-associated courtesies that will be needed for success in the work setting. Also, teaching to think beyond just the facts and skills can help them immensely. Barry Westling

Using pretests as planning tools
