Hi Leonard: Every instructor and institution has to come to a best practice with regards to extra credit and attendance counting towards a grade. There are many approaches to consider. Some institutions dictate what shall be. Others give the decision making to the instructor. In the end, we want to be sure the grade equate equitably with the learning that has occured. Hi Megan: Well prepared PPT slides can be helpful if they're created properly. Yours probably are. I've seen many that are not and really do little to assit the students. Lab is great. Hands on teaches the repetitive manipulations that many pprofessions require. Regrads, Barry

Hi Megan: Yes - equality can mean a lot of things. Fair, accurate, clear, unambiguous, and based on what was taught. If the teacher has done their job, most students should have the opportunity to do well on assessments. Regards, Barry
Hi Adrian: Good. I think there are good and bad uses for PPT. From the information contained, to formatting, to delivery - all these factors can make (or break) a lesson presented by PPT. Regards, Barry
