Craig, CIE specifically references certification or licensure required by the student to practice in their field, e.g. Nurses must be licensed by the state.

Craig, Use both statute and rule for definitions by the Commission. Every isnstitution has definitions of their own. Make sure that your definitions match those within the industry. For example, retake and repeat have very different meanings but are often used interchangeably to the confusion of the student.
