It is better to be more prepared and not use something in your procedure, than be less prepared and not know what to do next.

As an instructor, it is important to understand what my students already know and do not know. And then I would be able to teach them accordingly.

I learned that I must select deliveries that will enable the students to learn the materials and demonstrate mastery, while enjoying the process to the maximum extent possible.

Once I have established myself as the instructional leader in the classroom and have covered the basics of the course I may want to engage the class in some different activities that will assist in establishing a learning community within the classroom.

Its important to have a checklist so I will feel comfortable that I have covered all of the critical items for that day.

I've learned that I have to be the example that my students should feel comfortable following.

learning the difference between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation

I have learned that a motivated student comes from them having security and autonomy.

I learned that once the students are comfortable with their own abilities, and have practiced the procedures, and have an understanding of the skills, then they will possess the willingness to continue the learning process

I learned that by me telling stories about my experiences it could be used to fulfill a definite instructional purpose.
