I learned to make sure i let my students know standards and expectations for the course.

I learned the importance of keeping a detailed lesson plan and to keep paper copies in case a sub needs to fill in.

I learned that's it important to be prepared and have extra materials to incase my lecture runs short giving students to much free time makes them loose compresences.

I learned that intrinsic motivation is the drive to learn because it is fun, fulfilling, or enjoyable where extrinsic motivation is driven more by rewards than internal satisfaction

It the teacher responsibility to make sure that the students feel comfortable in the learning environment and for the teacher to make the class fun and enjoyable to promote class retention.

I learned that lectures are boring and try to make them short 10 to 15 minutes mini lectures and while doing demonstrations keep the steps between 5 to 7 after that comprehension drops significantly.

I Feel being early and having everything planed out and looking proper is what a good teacher does and being there to great them before class starts.  Asking how they are doing and making them comfortable helps set the stage for learning

I learned to dress for what I'm teaching while making sure that i set the most professional standards. then there's always room for improvement learning don't stop when you begin teaching you got to constantly grow and critique yourself also learn how to take criticism so you can always be improving yourself

Make it an enjoyable experience introduce comradery, competition, engage your students. Share your experiences, life stories and let them tell their stories learn their names.

.

I think it's important to take the time to learn about each student to know how to get them the most potential out of them be a mentor not their friend.  but most importantly make it fun.
