When meeting with a prospective student and all interactions, should not be misleading. As employees we should never misrepresent any part of the school or empoyment numbers.

Doing th right thing should be easy, if you are thinking of the student as a person and not just a number that should met. All information shoild give in order for the student make the decision that will best fit their need.

By showing examples it help the adult learn to ID, with the subject.
We are having more and more students coming out of high school with learning disabilities, as an instructor understanding how to address their special leraning need was not a easy task, but once I understood that not everyone leran the same method I talk you sit and listen, it became easy for me learning other ways to aide in reaching a level of understanding for each student.

By using life experience, in general life shoudl always be about learning, being that we all have different backgrounds

Putting studnts in groups is a great way to increase retention and motivate the students who have a hard time with understanding, or who just sit in class and don't ask any questions.
Good communication skills are the key to your students understanding, what the lesson is all about and what they should be learning.

I agree by showing examples helps students gets and form an ideal of what is expected.

Creating a test, I usely test all during class. but using the test and queston method.
Addresing question like: Jane, can you summarize in your own words what Richard said? ... Richard, is this what you meant? Could you give me an example? Gets the student more into the lesson, but you will alway have that one that will sit back and wait for someone else to rais their hand. I have a stuff fish that I usely tosh around the room, so when the student see that I tosh it when the answer start to come from one or two people, to get everyone into the lesson I gring him out.
