Activity

I learned that a flipped classroom helps students engage more through active learning. I plan to apply it by using videos for pre class work and class time for hands on activities and discussions.

Reflection and group discussions greatly enhance understanding. When students work together, they collaborate, share ideas, and learn from one another.

Just in time teaching provides effective ways to review and preview material for better info retention. It helps learners address problems as they arise and refresh their skills when needed. It also gives hesitant learners a chance to explore objectives and feel more confident working in groups.

After learning about PBL, GBL, and IBL, I realized there are many ways to approach a flipped classroom. I’m most drawn to problem-based learning. The flipped model questions and the idea of designing a collaborative environment were very useful. I also liked the Understanding by Design approach; starting with outcomes and assessments first makes more sense than starting with lesson plans. I can see how this method helps ensure that goals are actually met.

Teachers should address different learning styles like visual, auditory, reading and writting when using technology, so by offering varied resources and fostering collaboration, teachers can guide both in person and online. helping students to learn efficiently. Technology also simplifies ongoing evaluation, providing students with instant feedback.

I’ve learned that every child is unique, and what works for one may nt work for another. Each has their own personality, triggers, and ways of responding to discipline. That’s why taking the time to really get to know them is a good approach. To ask what they like, what motivates them, and what challenges them is part of the strategy to see they learning ways, some students are visual learners while others can be hands on learners. When they see that I genuinely care and take an interest in who they are, they tend to open up more and… >>>

I liked this course, I always tell my students that I’m not just here to teach what’s required by the curriculum. My goal is to help them build real skills that will make a difference once they’re out in the field. I remind them that everything we cover has a purpose and connects to their future careers.

This module gave great ideas to keep lessons flowing, but it really showed how important it is to get students involved. As leaders, we should connect each activity to professional standards and positive client outcomes.

Students at every level deserve to be heard and have their needs met. When teachers share personal stories from their own experiences, it helps students connect and truly understand the lessons. Starting each day with a positive attitude sets the tone for better learning. The teachers who teach with genuine excitement are the ones who keep students engaged.

I learned that everyone learns differently. I will apply this by adapting my approach and supporting diverse learning needs.
