This lesson identifies key componenets of transitioning from F2F classes to online. Course layut is of upmost importance. Students need to be able to quickly locate what they are looking for. The means by which you relay information are important. You can use a physical textbook, but you must convert it to online in a captavating fashion.

As the facilitator  of your class, it is imparative that thorough and precise communication take place. You must find the correct form of communication to facilitate all of your learners and there differing styles.

This module has taught us about a few different forms of communication with the students. synchronus and asynchronus are 2 common useful forms of communciation both with there own advantages and disadvantages. Your choice should depend on student capabilities, timeframes, course content, etc.

There are many technology tools available to us for online teaching. It is important o learn the fucntions and aspects of many different ones, to decide which is best suited for a specific task at hand.

A range of evaluations is an effective way to determine the success level of both the student and the instructor. Certain evaluations can magnify areas that require improvement for a Instructor (knowledge, content delivery, etc). As well as it may point out the weak areas for a certain learner and provide ideas on means of improvement

A thorough rubric, followed by a combination of assesments is key to providing the student an accurate indicator of how well they are perceiving and relaying the content. This system also can lend the instructor valuable information as to how well they are teaching and delivering the content to the students.

A well constructed course syllabus is key to a successful online class. You should facilitate proper discussion forums throughout the course to allow for student involvement and interaction. These communication devices vary depending on the current course content and the specific genre of the student and or instructor inquiery.

Module consistency and ease of use are of upmost importance. Try to design modules to look the same throughout the lesson in which you plan to distribute course content. Have others test your modules to determine whether they are easy to navigate and understand. Make adjustments as neccassary. Content should be concisive with the lesson at hand. Chunk content into smaller individually focused modules when neccassary

Many great topics were covered. Minimizing needless work by prioritizing Email responses. We learned of different types of interruptions and/or learmer challenges such as distruptive, intimidation, and procrastinating learner habits We learned skills to overcome these obstacles.

In this Module I have learned a few different type of learners, and how to properly involve them into a discussion. We learn that when deilvering valuable information, smaller groups are more effective to conveying the information thoroughly. Identification of contributors is key to hosting affective discussion.
