Activity

I have learned that it is important to be prepared to vary my teaching style. Students want to be engaged and feel that the lecture style remains entertaining as well as educational.

First impressions are important in order to help students understand what expectations for the classroom will be.

By introducing myself and my work experience as well as outside hobbies will allow students to see that I am human too and hopefully help feel more comfortable in their learning journey.

By being prepared to teach the classroom, it will make the teaching process go a lot more smoothly. Arrive, early, have a lesson plan, set a comfortable learning environment for the students and be clear on the learning objectives for the course.

There are key components to provide students as an Instructor. Essential roles are modeling, manager, and motivator. Stay professional, whether that is your dress approach, communication and my style I will teach as the role model of the classroom.
