In this module I have learned there may be more to the students behavior than you are aware of. So, make the connection with the student, find out why, and then address the behavior in a non-threatening way.
In this module I learned to seek out those that would be good mentors to help me better understand pedagogy!
That in CTE you are not a peer but a role model to your students so act accordingly.
I have gained a better understanding of the reason and effectiveness of the CTE program. It not only provides a path for future education, but also provides an avenue for employment opportunities for those not yet looking to further their education.

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
