while there may be resistance or learning curves to this environment, if we continue to provide as much support as possible, we can alleviate friction for students

active learning should mean that students are engaged, but there also should be a clear expectation and understanding from students that they need to put in the work to learn it so it is reinforced, just because we make it comprehensible, does not mean it is stuck in their head for tests and application.

as instructors we have to make sure our lessons are mixed with the active learning, not just passive learning

If we can teach our students time management skills and how to be accountable for their own time and actions, i think we will have more successful outcomes

I find it concerning sometimes that younger generations may consider social networking as its only importance and not consider people's talents

I have learned to blend technical expertise with essential human skills, such as improved communication

It is important to remind students of the resources and who they can reach out to for technical support so they are not overwhelmed by these issues and can get quick resolution.

I will find ways to continue to solicit feedback from students and encourage participation.

I will encourage students to talk about themselves to get to know them better.
