From this module, I have learned the importance of supporting the individual that has raised a complaint by encouraging them to report the issue to the appropriate authorities (Title IX Coordinator, police, etc.) while maintaining impartiality throughout the investigative process.

From this module, I have learned the importance of knowing who my institution's Title IX coordinator is and how to get in contact with them if necessary.

From this module, I have learned the importance of knowing my role and responsibilities as an instructor in ensuring the protection of ALL students and members of the institution as it relates to Title IX and VAWA.

From this module, I have learned the importance of continuing to motivate students in order to improve their likelihood of success in their career program.

From this module, I learned the importance of evaluating student engagement and adjusting class sessions based on student feedback. Additionally, it is important to vary class sessions in order to promote student engagement.

From this module, I have learned the importance of incorporating creativity into each class session in order to keep students engaged. Additionally, it is important to set and maintain high expectations/standards for the class, but in a way that is not intimidating for the students.

From this module I have learned the importance of incorporating real life experiences into classroom lectures in order to keep students engaged and to also demonstrate the transferability of knowledge (both old and new).

From this module, I have learned the importance of thoroughly preparing for each lecture and ensuring that I incorporate variety to keep the students actively and meaningfully engaged.

From this module, I learned the importance of making a genuine effort to get to know each student individually.

From this module, I have learned about the importance of knowing ALL of the material (text, syllabus, etc) that the students are expected to know.
