Carolyn, I really like the idea of having the students review your mission statement. This allows the student to better understand the foundation that the school was built upon. Bravo! Cindy Bryant

Linda, Today's generation of students are definitely more technologically driven. I have learned that many people text each other while in their own home. I have noticed people respond much quicker to text than any other form of communication but you make a good point that email addresses seldom change. Cindy Bryant
Amy, Welcome to the forum. Keeping up with the disclosures can be a daunting task. It is great to know that your school takes so much time to ensure that the students receive accurate information. Cindy Bryant

Linda, Addressing complaints in a timely fashion helps schools avoid additional issues. When a student's complaint is addressed by the school they are not as quick to call the state agency to seek an answer. This opens the door to investigative actions by the state whether founded or not. This should be avoided at all costs. Cindy Bryant
Linda, You are correct. This is a critical area that schools must adhere to. Cindy Bryant

Tamara, It's a good thing that you have the ability to 'switch gears' so easily. Having to learn so many different policies can be daunting. Cindy Bryant

Adriana, This great to know. An Open Door Policy is open communication in an environment of trust and mutual respect that creates a solid foundation for collaboration, growth, high performance and success across an institution. It allows students to seek counsel, provide or solicit feedback, or raise concerns within the school. Cindy Bryant

Courtney, Upholding a professional profile sets the tone for the students. Just like parenting you should always set the example. Cindy Bryant
