Kristopher , Thank you so much for your great response. You have hit key areas that will ultimately have an effect on the students life. Cindy Bryant
Allan, Thank you for joining the forum! You are the first to mention that you have the D-N-C regulations printed in your catalog. Great idea. Cindy Bryant
Tralanda, Have you ever been confronted with a situation where a student was a late enrollment and was not able to go online 3 weeks prior to order books? If so, how did you handle the situation? Cindy Bryant
Vickie, Thanks for challenging your fellow employees! Anyone care to answer Vickie's question? Cindy Bryant
Angela, Allowing students to receive books in orientation is an excellent way to get the student engaged in their education. It is exciting to enroll in school then the excitement ebbs, when they receive their books they are re-energized! Cindy Bryant

Kyle, Another key factor to enrolling in a career college is that students may have attempted traditional education and have not been successful, a) due to lack of career focus b) or lack of educational viability. Career colleges keep students focused on their goal and provide them with the skills to support themselves in their chosen profession. Cindy Bryant

Carolyn, Catalogs are sometimes overlooked in the entire scope of a career colleges success. You make a good point...the catalog should be a guide that takes the student from A-Z throughout their academic career. Having the student sign-off on the catalog places the burden of responsibility on the student. Cindy Bryant

Carolyn, Thank you for providing us with the recipe for career colleges. It is encouraging to know that our schools continue to make a difference in society. Cindy Bryant
Liza, Thank you for sharing. Being an ED of a school requires that you have a "ton" of information at your fingertips. You are the be all, end all, to everything on campus. Cindy Bryant
David, Hi! Welcome to the forum. Accreditation questions are common. Many students confuse the transferability of credits with accreditation. Sometime this stems from a lack of understanding from other schools that the students may have approached. It is important that the student understand that accreditation and transfer of credits is two separate entities. Thanks for sharing as I am sure others are asked this question often as well.
