Jessica, You make an excellent case-being objective and ethical when reviewing students work and projects is an attribute of a good instructor. Cindy Bryant
Kathleen, Thank you for your response. Does your schools system work effectively for you? Cindy Bryant

Christine, Thank you for sharing your apprehension. Students are no different and they may become very nervous about their exits and afraid to ask questions or reveal their concerns. Cindy Bryant

Vanessa, Many times you may not maintain the anonymity of a student in order to resolve the problem. Students are generally open to revealing their name if it is handled professionally and respectfully. Cindy Bryant

Jessica, Thanks for joining the forum. I sometimes wonder if the media becomes "jaded" with all the negativity and tragic events in the world today? I think that we sometimes forget that the press are comprised of human beings that are impacted daily by issues. Cindy Bryant

Dan, Ahhhh, I am glad that you mentioned this (training your brain not to take matters into your own hands) because this is a learned skill. Many of us are used to working out problems and providing answers to inquiries and that is not always the prudent path to take. We need to "train our brain" to listen and effectively refer the person to correct department or employee. Cindy Bryant
Aimee, Hi! Welcome to the forum. Once you receive this information how would you handle this referral? Cindy Bryant
Shari, Thank you for sharing your schools experience with online book ordering. Any time there is a change in the system there is generally a "hiccup" but for the most part is worked out. It will be interesting to see how your proposed situation will be worked out. Cindy Bryant
Hi Marc, Thank you for joining the forum. It is important for all of us to remember that a mistake takes time to correct and even longer to forgive. No matter how much we promise it becomes a "show me" issue. Cindy Bryant
