Jefferson, Based on your previous experience it sounds as if your role in admissions had quite a bit of responsibility compared to your career services position. Is this a fair assumption? Cindy Bryant

Jefferson, Another thought to consider is that recruiting in public offices portrays a false sense of approval to the general public. Many people would assume that an organization is sanctioned simply by the fact they are in the same proximity. This creates confusion for the consumer. Cindy Bryant

Tracy, Hi! Having students complete their own research indicates that the student is invested in themselves. However, too many times the system is so complex that the student can't always find the answer they are needing and may need a trained professional to assist them. It may be a matter of maneuvering the mine fields, so to speak. Cindy Bryant

Viviana, Hi! You mention taking the student with you to find the right person who can correctly answer the question, this is a great way for your students to build trust in you. Students will appreciate that you took the extra time to walk them to the right person. Cindy Bryant
