Jeff, While I agree with your post regarding media influences. The stumbling block will be consumers (i.e. prospective students) educating themselves on media bias and accessing reliable facts. Erdeena, FERPA is a very important Act but parents feel that their rights are being violated. The way I used to handle these types of situations was to invite the parent and child to come in together and discuss their concerns. This usually worked because parents would confront the student and everyone got what they were needing. Cindy Bryant
