Mary, Everyone wants to be heard and have their opinion validated. Every concern should be approached as if it is top priority. This will help avoid larger problems in the future. Cindy Bryant

Kim, You have added great insight into this delicate subject. It is always interesting to understand the psychi of a potential student. I always find it interesting to understand what made a student decide to go to school and what made them change their mind. Cindy Bryant

Karyn, A blended approach to training is usually the best approach. Another best practice that has been shared throughout this course is mentoring. Many times new employees are concerned with minor questions (which can become major if the wrong answer is not given) that can easily be answered by a seasoned employee. This allows the new employee to learn the system and get to know another team member. Cindy Bryant

Robert, In many cases it is a person's vulnerability that distorts their ability to make good decisions. In order to enroll students that will become graduates the student must be prepared emotionally and financially to attend school. Cindy Bryant

Carly, If a person is unhappy it is critical that someone hear their concerns. But too many times they hear what the student says but they aren't actually listening. Listening is the key. Cindy Bryant
Daniel, I think that this is a great way to spotlight your school and give the student the utmost confidence in their decision to attend your college. Cindy Bryant
Nancy, Encouraging the student to research several schools will allow them the opportunity to make a decisions based on their personal needs and desires. It will also give a 'premier' school the advantage. Cindy Bryant
Ian, Many of the disclosures that are required during the admissions process are driven by what has been accomplished in the classroom and post graduation. I encourage every instructor to have a working knowledge of the information that is being given out during enrollment. This is beneficial in the event there are questions from the students pertaining to the disclosures. Cindy Bryant

Jeanne, You have raised a valid point. The student who is left on their own to interpret the crosswalk could become confused with the way the data is listed. Also, there has not been clear detailed guidance in how the information must be posted or displayed on a school's website beyond providing a link to the information. The result has been a game of 'hide and seek' on some websites. The key to successful dissemination of information is to keep it as simple as possible for the student. Cindy Bryant

Richard, The broad scope of the definition and the caveat of 'substantial misrepresentation' create an environment of paralysis. Cindy Bryant
