Selma, Overcoming bad press is a long journey. The only action that will overcome bad press is rebuilding trust within the community that you serve. Then you must have a strong 'word of mouth' campaign to right the wrong. Guilty or Not Guilty becomes irrelevant at this point. Cindy Bryant

Saundra, I understand how you could conclude that a referral could be a solicitation. Many times students may know someone who has an interest in furthering their education but afraid to take the initial step. It is always a best practice to ask the student to make the initial contact so no one is caught off guard. Cindy Bryant
