Mike, One would believe that educational institutions would have an equal playing ground unfortunately that is not true. It is going to take a while for each level of education to gain respect from each other and to evolve into a more cohesive entity. Cindy Bryant
Larry, You bring up a good point, people may commit fraud without intending to do so. This could take the form of misguided information. As you learned in the module on misrepresentation it does not matter whether the information was intended or unintended if the student relied upon the information the consequences could be the same. Susan, Students like to know that the business world is comprised of real people with real experiences. Presenting real world antidotes is a great way to get students attention. As a high school presenter, every time you get ready to address a class you are on stage and it very challenging to connect with an audience that prefers social media to person-to-person interaction. Lee, Many times employees will have their own 'directory' for contacting their students and will fail to access the system therefore, the fact that the employee is notified is an important step. Cindy Bryant

Kim, Recently there was an expose' on television that focused on a company that was having issues with turn-over. At the end of the media piece the CEO learned that what was most important to the employees was not monetary advancement but being recognized and treated with respect. One employee who earned less than $10.00 an hour had held on to a gift that was given him as 'Employee of the Month" over 9 years ago. Another employee was so excited to be recognized as a mentor and train others. A third employee just wanted to have the necessary 'tools… >>>

Jamie, While I agree with you - we have sometimes perpetuated our own situations with the 'bad actors' in the industry. The old adage of 'one bad apple' is definitely true. It will take a long time to recover. Cindy Bryant
