Andrew, Your prior experience is a great example of how schools and colleges have changed in regard to sharing information. Cindy Bryant
Andrew, When you referred to contact with disclosures did you mean to say that you DON'T have contact with the disclosures? It is always a good practice to know what students are being told on the front end to be able to answer questions on the back end. Cindy Bryant
Andrea, Gaining referrals is connected to the foundation you have built with the student. If the foundation is strong and the contract fulfilled the student is willing to refer people they care about to experience the same level of success they have felt. Cindy Bryant

Jay, While surfing the internet for jobs and other things it is common to see educational opportunities pop-ups. Unfortunately, to my knowledge no one patrols this element of advertising. AND it could fall under the CAN Spam act in some distant way. I would love to hear others opinion on this topic. Cindy Bryant

Susan, Incorporating career services into the Exit process is a crucial part of preparing the student for employment. Cindy Bryant
Amber, Thank you for providing such a thorough response to the Disclosures forum. Great job! Cindy Bryant

Michelle, The exit interview is primarily designed to inform students of their student loan repayment rights and obligations. This information can be given in a group session. I do agree that personal situations and opinions should be presented in a more private setting. Cindy Bryant

Angela, You mention having a well prepared and qualified faculty as an ethical practice. Through providing detailed training an employee is able to understand the policies and procedures of the institution. Once a person understands these policies they are less likely to misrepresent the institution. Cindy Bryant

Melissa, Excellent technique. Sometimes writing down your feelings (i.e. concerns) can be quite cathartic. Once you see the issue in black and white you can rationalize whether or not the concerns are relevant. Cindy Bryant

Michael, The regulatory environment mandates that advertising must be an accurate portrayal of the school. It is unethical to paint an above average picture of the school. Cindy Bryant
