Jacqueline, I understand that the books are distributed on a first come first serve basis. But how do you set up the way books are ordered to ensure that every student receives the necessary materials. Cindy Bryant

Amy, By being in tune with your students needs and concerns you are able to assist them and avoid such actions as formal complaints. Keep up the good work. Cindy Bryant
Lisa , Do you find the online communication beneficial? Cindy Bryant
Amanda, I would encourage you to visit the admissions department and have a conversation about the disclosures and how they are distributed. Often students will ask questions about their admissions process that as an instructor you may not be equipped to answer. Cindy Bryant

Amanda, I believe that offering the student several options makes a difference. Some students are not comfortable with confrontation and prefer to place their issue in a box and let the administration approach them. As long as it works for the student and the school it is a viable process. Cindy Bryant

Kesha, I agree, that if a complaint can be resolved in the classroom it should be. It shows the student that you hear them and have respect and authority to manage the classroom environment. Cindy Bryant

Becka, Student complaints may be an outcry for help and assistance. Just by acknowledging that the student has a concern indicates that you care about their well being. Cindy Bryant

Becka, Would you mind clarifying your response? Are you referring to being introduced to ethical practices as your school views them? Cindy Bryant
Tiffany, I am not sure that I am following the context of your post, what do you mean by 'text'? Cindy Bryant
Lisa, Unfortunately, every student counts toward your placement numbers regardless of their disabilities. Your goal must be to assist them to the best of your ability to ensure that they are capable of passing the test. At the end of the day those students are few and far between and the impact on your outcomes should be minimal. Cindy Bryant
