Demetrias, Hi! The exits we are referring to are those that are required by the Department of Education to ensure that students understand their financial liabilities. However, many schools combine the federal exit with a school survey that covers the items you mentioned. Cindy Bryant

David, Thank you for sharing an excellent way to respond when someone is new to the organization. "I am not yet trained or qualified to answer that question, but I will get you with someone who is" Cindy Bryant
David, Welcome to the forum. We all can understand that mistakes can happen but it is good to know that immediate action is taken when materials are needed. Cindy Bryant
Nikki, Welcome to the forum. It is so unfortunate that students felt mislead. Cindy Bryant

Ayesha, Several people in the forum have mentioned that students need to be professional in their approach and as you mentioned this also applies to faculty and staff. Professionalism extends from how we dress and carry ourselves to how we organize and operate our daily activities. Cindy Bryant
Dawn, I believe that everyone would hope that schools are acting in a responsible and ethical manner but if this is not the case we will continue to be in the spotlight. What is the best way to protect your school from unwanted scrutiny? Cindy Bryant

Shawn, Misrepresentation covers a broad spectrum of issues. It is very easy to misrepresent a simple fact and create a problem for the student and school. Your advice to always check your resources is great advice. Cindy Bryant

Elizabeth, We all hope that our students possess the kind of qualities that make them want to be (and become) better people. Instructors can have a influence over students by being a positive role models; think out loud and share your critical thinking skills; Apologize and admit mistakes; follow through; and demonstrate confidence. While it may seem like a great deal of pressure to be a positive role model; nobody is expecting you to be superhuman. Cindy Bryant

Jane, Chain of command is considered very important in organizations because it enhances the effectiveness of the managing student complaints. This ultimately enhances the control of the management over the operations of the organizations including complaints. The chain of command clearly shows the line of authority and responsibility in the organization, therefore, it really plays an important role in the organizations. Cindy Bryant

Joseph, You are not alone. Some instructors have gone as far as to break down the cost of education by the hour to help encourage students to attend more regularly. Cindy Bryant
