Denise, It was once said that rules and regulations were put in place to keep the honest "honest." We will not be able to impact a person's behavior who acts without integrity and misleads a student for their own personal gain. We can influence those who care to be even more transparent with a student and give the student the opportunity to make an informed decision. Cindy Bryant

Mary, Penn State is a good example of how a learning institution can be scrutinized in such a manner that damages a schools reputation. However, the incident at Penn State easy isolated to the athletics department but you can see the sprawling after effects. Society wants to know that an educational institution upholds dignity, integrity and builds a foundation on a strong mission statement. When these expectations are not met then society feels that the academic institution has failed as a whole. Cindy Bryant
