Brandon, Thank you for sharing this excellent strategy for conducting exits. It is a great way to connect with students to see how their education has impacted their initial goals AND to further explain their responsibilities on loan repayments, etc. Cindy Bryant

Demetra, Hi! I would encourage you to review your schools catalog to become better acquainted with all of the policies and procedures that effect your students and your school. Cindy Bryant
Christopher, Granted that we crave praise and recognition for a job well-done but it is not always a common practice in the workplace. It would be interesting to better understand how most of us respond to professional praise. Cindy Bryant
Kimberly, For organizations operating in regulated industries such as the career college sector, the need for implementing a compliance program is well understood. There continues to be increased regulatory scrutiny and an emphasis on compliance. Significant compliance guidance from the USDE has been issued over the years with recommendations for structuring a compliance program and the elements that should be included. The Program Integrity Guidelines, which went into effect in October 2011 established Policies, Procedures and Controls that should position schools to improve their retention rates. Cindy Bryant

Debra, Providing students with a grievance packet indicates that your school is well organized and prepared to discuss any concerns that they may have. If the students recognize that are able to contact the state, if necessary, puts them at ease that the school doesn't have any reason to avoid such actions. Cindy Bryant

Keith, Building trust with your students gives you a great opportunity to assist them with achieving their goals. Until students feel that you are trustworthy they will not be open to the guidance that you can offer them. Cindy Bryant
Laura, Thank you so much for your response AND managing the process so well. Cindy Bryant
