Jessica, Hi! While I agree that we need to be in touch with all of the regulations that affect our daily performance, I am always looking for the best way to stay engaged. How do you best manage keeping up with the regulatory environment. Cindy Bryant

Candyce, The US and state government has always been our greatest protector. Their goal is to protect those that need the most. If the consumer protections are in place and serve the purpose that they were intended for the public will be able to utilize their services and have an opportunity to attend school in the future. Benjamin, I understand your philosophy on supporting the media through advertising. However this is a double edged sword that has a high risk associated with it. The advertising is critical to the financial welfare of the institution and if it is discontinued it could perpetuate the financial down turn. Cindy Bryant
Marilyn, Hi! Thank you for mentioning this issue. It is important to address this issue as quickly as possible to assist the student in achieving their goal. There have been occasions where retention has been affected by the lack of supplies. Cindy Bryant

Jason, Today, the website is one of the most accurate tools available to the students. All of the pertinent information is available for their review. Cindy Bryant

Jason, The instructors are definitely the first line of contact. Have you provided your students with in-depth material on the complaint policy? Cindy Bryant

Janice, Great quote! You cannot go wrong with a facts only approach.BUT is this always possible. At times students may draw you into a conversation that will take a different direction. You may be challenged to to provide more information than you would care too. Always be prepared to provide additional information in the right context. :) Cindy Bryant
Darlene, Thanks for your response. Students expect to receive materials in a timely fashion. If this is not delivered on time then the institution runs the risk pf being seen as less than professional. Great job! Cindy Bryant

James, It sounds as if you thoroughly understand the importance of the catalog as a tool. Once the students understand the importance of the catalog they will find it beneficial throughout their academic career. Cindy Bryant
Richard, This a great way to be resourceful. I can see this being helpful in two areas. First, having the students engaged from the very first day should promote strong retention. Secondly, it allows the school to order the books after the students are in class which cuts down on the bottom line. Cindy Bryant
