Theresa, I just read an article that captured the essence of why recruiting activities are limited in social service offices. Manuel, The media serves multiple purposes. They are a great marketing resource that has the ability to draw potential students to our door. Unfortunately when things go badly it has the opposite effect. Cindy Bryant

Maria, Sometimes new employees are intimidated to ask questions because they may feel"dumb". We all know that this is not the case and a great way to calm their jitters is to assign them a peer mentor who can readily answer their questions or guide them according to policies and procedures. Darlene, I have heard it said that you only have to tell the truth once but a falsehood must be recalled on more than one occasion. It is always better to review policies and procedures or check with a seasoned employee to ensure the answer is correct. Cindy Bryant
Tamala, We have come such a long way since the paper and pen recording of grades, awaiting the public posting of grades or passing out the grade in class. Technology has proven to be a great tool. Cindy Bryant
