Gina, I am strong believer in the "6 degrees of separation" theory. Six degrees of separation is the theory that everyone and everything is six or fewer steps away, by way of introduction, from any other person in the world, so that a chain of "a friend of a friend" statements can be made to connect any two people in a maximum of six steps. It began in 1929 with Hungarian author Frigyes Karinthy and has been studied by a multitude of theorists and scientists. It corroborates the power of a referral. Cindy Bryant

Lino, Hi! The courtesy that you extended the student went a very long way. I am sure that they are more at ease with you and the school. Cindy Bryant

Rebecca, Hi! Welcome to forum. I find it intriguing that you are not sold on how well the government offices have protected their clientele from third parties. In your opinion what would be the best way to protect the public from harassment while participating in federal and state programs on site. Cindy Bryant

Brandy, Having a clear and concise complaint policy is critical to the success of a school. It allows students to vent their frustrations which minimizes the risk of the student going to the state, accreditor, USDE or filing a lawsuit. Being heard is very important. Cindy Bryant
William, Teachers have the most impact on a students life next to their family. If you think about your previous educational experience I am sure that you can recall a teacher that had great influence over you. While many of us cannot recall what we ate yesterday we can recall our 2nd grade teacher that spent extra time with us to make sure that we were successful. Cindy Bryant

Mickie, Career higher education was founded on the fact that students are able to receive more "hands-on" training. The best way to accomplish this task is in a smaller classroom where everyone can get involved. Thanks for mentioning this important feature. Cindy Bryant
Jessica, Hi! Different people use different methods to manage relevant information. The fact that you have chosen the Paper Notebook indicates that you enjoy to feel of having information right at your fingertips. :) Cindy Bryant
Janice, Allowing your employees the opportunity to recharge and re-energize is very important, not only to their well being but to keep the level of productivity up. Balance is the key! Cindy Bryant
Brandy, Transparency is a key indicator of ethical practices in any school. The fact that you encourage students to reflect on their decision shows that you have the utmost confidence in your school and it's ability to fulfill the student's goals. Cindy Bryant

Patrick, Hi! It sounds as if your campus and state has a great system in place for fielding student concerns and complaints. Thank you for sharing. Cindy Bryant
