Melaney, It is refreshing to know that you will strive to represent your school with the utmost integrity. Understanding your boundaries is the first step to creating a strong institution. As you learn more about your institution you will feel more comfortable when a student approaches you. Cindy Bryant
Gwen, How important is it that people be able to approach employees of an institution when they have questions? How does this make a difference in how they see the school? Cindy Bryant
Renee, Failing to be transparent is a form of deception. Sometimes people give some information while believing it to be untrue, intending to deceive by doing so. A failing to be transparent becomes a lie when it has one of three essential features: -gives some information but voluntarily withholds information -intends to deceive or mislead -believes that what they are 'saying' is not true People who feel deceived are likely to turn their back on the person that deceived them or the institution they represent. Deidre, Customer service is one variable that may set your school apart from others. If a school delivers outstanding customer service the students will happy to praise the institution and bring others to your doorstep. Cindy Bryant

Elizabeth, Hi! Welcome to the forum. Community involvement is a critical component of a school or businesses persona. It allows for teamwork (as you mentioned) and a sense of giving back. I great motivator for community service is the fact that most positions are secured through networking. Encouraging your students to network from the beginning may give them a edge on the competition. Cindy Bryant
Nelson, Thank you so much for responding to my question. You have truly thought through your answer and are right on target. Cindy Bryant
Leigh, Thank you for taking the time to do the research to determine how your school documents Do-Not-Call participants. Cindy Bryant

Antonio, This is true often times businesses lose clients because they are not a good fit. What may seem like a good idea at the time may change. Cindy Bryant
Stanley, At one time the disclosure rules were lacking however, most states are attempting to align with federal regulations and requirements which lends itself to more consistency. Cindy Bryant
