Organization, consistency and useful tools will help with the delivery of an online course.

Communication and feedback are very important in an online environment just as in the regular classroom.

Consistency and communication are both important in the online learning process.  Just as a teacher would accomodate in the classroom, they must hit all learning styles online as well.

It is important to research tools that best help the subject we teach.

Multiple forms of evalation show the instructor who has mastered the course.

Feedback is crucial in establishing what the instuctor wants from the student.  If there is no communication, attrition could take place.

Most students in college rely on a syllabus.  In high school, they aren't used as much but for an online course, it will help keep students on track and informed of what is next.

Following an outline of creating the course is important.  Course flow will help students be successful.

Constant interaction and quick communication will keep students involved.  If they know the teacher is paying attention to deadlines then they will as well.

Encouraging discussion between students/instructor will make the class more successful.  Students want to feel a part of the process and by allowing discussion, you are giving them some ownership in their learning.
