Activity

It is important to respect all students independent of culture and language. All learn and develop at different stages.

I can apply what I have learned by getting to know my students as individuals and creating a classroom where everyone feels respected, included, and valued. I will recognize that each student brings unique experiences and strengths to the classroom from previous experiences and backgrounds.

It is important to have interactive activities with each topic or lecture to reinforce learning.

Useful tips when handling behaviors that will have a more positive response

This is all new to me and will take awhile to learn and incorporate into the classroom.

There is a lot to learn from the computer world that I am not accustomed to use and will need to learn more to use this in class.

Moving forward as a new instructor, I plan to incorporate more active learning strategies into my teaching practice. I will se questioning techniques, small-group discussions, and problem-based activities to encourage participation

I learned that people have different learning styles and that using strategies that match those styles can improve understanding and retention. I, also, learned that learning assessments are important because they help measure progress and identify areas of improvements. I plan to apply the knowledge by using study techniques that match preferred learning styles in hopes that each student can learn individually and benefit from group work and see how others study can assist in achieving better results.
