Leadership is in every profession. Having leadership skills are imperative and help develop character and critical thinking skills
In all honesty jobs/employers should not be utilizing someone's social media to determine professionalism or whether or not they would hire someone or give them an interview because that is what they do on their off time from work or school. There are too many people that live double lives; people play a role on and offline.
Teamwork will always be a vital aspect in the work environment because it goes back to the foundation of community. Everything cannot be done by one person and no one person has all the answers to challenges. Teamwork enforces collaborations and fostering new ideas
I like the IDEALS concept for critical thinking, which allows the students to understand the importance of critical thinking, as well as provide them a layout of fostering their critical thinking skills
Understanding the campus climate and how to implement it across the campus helps with student retention

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
