Completion questions are relatively easy to develop and require students to recall information rather than simply recognizing information in context.

A teacher who has mastered the art of questioning can bring reserved students into a conversation.

Students need to know what is expected of them as well as how their work will be graded.

I learned from this reading that each learning activity for face to face classroom activities should be 20 to 25 minutes.

Reasonable accommodation are those that do not fundamentally alter the nature of the course and/ or program in which the student is enrolled.

When students goes off to college with a learning disability. It is up to the student to let their college and instructor know what types of accommodations work best for them.

Research show that many individuals with learning disabilities are creative problem solvers.

The English language has about 44 sounds but has only 26 letters to represent those sounds. Also, if one or more of the steps in learning to read is not mastered, reading challenges start to multiply for students.

To laugh when I make a mistake and to acknowledge my mistake. This will let my students see that I am human and I am willing to learn from my mistakes.

The two most common reasons for silent students in class: shy students and students that feel insecure about the knowledge they have about course content.
