I have learned about the new 10% rule for marketing.

I learned about the importance of library services to staff and students.

Student services is a very important department has they help with student success.

I like the idea of a 5 year plan and having an Advisory Committee to help ensure the growth of the school.

This module has helped me to better understand the accreditation process etc. since I am new in the education field.

I found that this was a great training to help me with a PDLP.

I think being a leader that you have to set the stage for your employees. Everyone has a different mindset on how their job or role should be performed. However, being a leader it is our responsibility to assure that the structure is there from the start, and make sure if we see a struggle that we are there to assist them during that time.

I feel that being a leader you must have self-awarness, but in the mean time also have to have transparency, and be able to handle any given obstacle at any minute.

I think that active listening is a fundamental skill for effective leadership. When you give your full attention to an employee and truly listen to what they have to say, you demonstrate respect, empathy, and understanding. This not only fosters trust and rapport but also allows you to gain valuable insights into the thoughts, concerns, and ideas of your team members. By being all ears and genuinely hearing them out, you create an environment where employees feel valued and supported, which is essential for maintaining morale and fostering a positive work culture.

I would have to say that I have discovered new aspects of leadership style and skills that can be incredibly valuable for personal and professional growth. Embracing these newfound strengths and honing them further can lead to even greater success in my endeavors.
