I am constantly learning about best uses of technology in my instruction. I received some useful insights from the course.

Comment on Rory Holloway's post: I also found it very useful. While a lot of the resources were familiar, quite a few I had never heard of. I will be sure to use them in my daily practice.

What does research say about the effectiveness of virtual learning as different from the in-class setting? Collaborative virtual vs self-directed learning?

I am going to continue applying the story telling method. The learned content provides excellent explanation why this method is so effective.

I have and still continue to learn from "the stories gone bad" whether for their length, ineffectiveness, or irrelevance. I do and have always been discerning about how I frame my stories and quite successfully so.

I love using storytelling and humor in my instruction daily. It is easy for me because it happens to be my default personality mode. In fact, I couldn't do it otherwise.

I found tips to eliminate procrastination helpful.

Thanks for sharing it, Melissa. I find it very useful indeed, and not only for my students.

Yes, this, indeed, is my top favorite aspect of this profession.

What are other effective (and creative) ways to reward and encourage active engagement and participation to avoid the impression of excessive singling out of ndividual students?
