My preference is to meet with students personally and individually because I can show my encouragement and hope for their success better that way. Donna, That's great! I too believe field trips and guest speakers are a wonderful way to infuse enthusiasm and interest into the routine class sessions. Often, students will recieve new levels of motivation, buckle down, and see their work improve after an interesting guest or field trip activity. Barry Westling
