In this last interview, Dr. Michael Lanouette, Chief Academic Officer of Remington College, covers two of the final traits in his top ten:  the importance of Seriousness--effective instructors can relate the critical nature of what they are taching to their students.  Lastly, Mike talks about Caring--relaying that highly effective instructors truly care about their students.  We end by discussing how these traits are used to evaluate faculty at Remington.  Thank you to Mike for his time and insights!

In Part 3 of my 4 part interview with Dr. Michael Lanouette, we discussed three more traits of effective instructors.  Mike covers my personal favorite first: How use of particular pronouns provides insight into an instructor's potential effectiveness--see what Mike means when you watch.  He also talks about Passion--how effective instructors usually have a strong passion for the topic they teach.  And lastly, he spoke with me about how amount and level of Interactivity with students makes an impact.
