Thank you for defining basic terms. I knew that cache needed to be cleaned up periodically, but I didn't know how the information came to be stored on a device. I appreciate these definitions! ...sharing information outside of a LMS has issues RE privacy and laws protecting student privacy - always be advised before forming groups on the internet.

Learning challenges may not be flexible and accomodating of information presented in one way. These challenges must be respected if students are to learn.

Bilingual education is not confusing. Being open to language that might not be traditional can aid teaching.

Culturally competent teaching requires the use of intercultural communication skills - be inclusive and focus on what is being said and not how it is being said.

Be inclusive and do not assume. Good advice in general! This should be applied both formally, in class design, and informally in casual conversation.

Both Gen Y and Z like to see relevency exposed in the classroom. These students may need extra exposure to interpersonal professionalism since they are used to the social rules of online engagement.

Technology can be a double-edged sword: noisy, distracting and possibly inaccurate yet puts the world at your fingertips. Often technology use can seem forced in the classroom "trying to include technology."

Instructors need to adapt to learners and that includes characteristics of learning that can be generalized to generational cohorts.

I plan to be observant to the generational character of my classes and respectful of their learning styles.

Professionals are a great resourse: eg critical incident stress debriefing.
